There is no undertaking so bold as to start your own business.  I am passionate about helping people make a living from their passion so it is always a delight for me to coach someone through this process.

Having launched two of my own businesses,  I have a very intimate relationship with the issues that come up during the launch as well everything that comes up along the way.

How I Work

I will help you to grow your business organically but we will start at the end, not at the beginning.  We will map out what your vision and goals are for you living the life of your dreams and having the business of your dreams and that will be what provides us with the “map” that we follow.  You set the destination, I make sure that you’re taking the quickest and easiest routes to get there.  You are always in control of the destination, and if you decide that you want to adjust it I will support you in making that happen.

We will set up a plan so that you take each step in a logical order to prevent burn-out, overwhelm, and/or costly mistakes.  I don’t ever want you to be in the position of not being able to deliver your product or service according to your standards.  I will help you carefully plan each step of your expansion and put in place the appropriate elements so that each step is as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Many small business owners get caught up in the tsunami of marketing and maintaining a small business and lose sight of personal goals, relationships, self-care, and joy.  I am a firm believer in hard work but I think it’s extremely important to maintain a balance in life.  If you’re no longer experiencing the joy that brought you to your business in the first place, if you’re overworked and exhausted, then what’s the point?  It is my job as a coach to keep that from happening and help you stay balanced, focused, and centered through the launch and subsequent building of your business.

Guidance and Support in the Rough Spots
A business can take a long time to grow and an even longer time to turn a profit.  Once the foundations are laid down and there is nothing but hard work and waiting, having a coach becomes invaluable to help you persevere through the time when you must take care of your business even though it is not taking care of you.  This is a crucial time in business and the time when most people give up.  Coaching can make the difference between suffering through this portion and gliding through until things get to where you want them to be.
